Good to know
What it is best for
One rung, five seconds at 720p, which makes it the place to get the wording of a prompt right before it costs anything real. Run it three or four times, watch which sentences actually change the movement, then carry the winner over to Seedance 2.0 and choose the resolution and the length there. A start photo, an end frame or up to four references are optional, and like the flagship it refuses photos of real people.
The only chip is the aspect ratio, so choose the shape you will publish in now: 9:16 for a story, 16:9 for a channel post. Name the subject, one camera move and the light. Add a start photo to fix the look, an end frame to fix where it lands, or references instead of both when a character has to stay the same.
Process
Three steps to a finished clip
- Open the bot@StarGenAI_Bot, and the Mini App from there. Nothing to download.
- Describe the scene or send a photoText, a frame, or both: a photo turns into a moving shot.
- Take the clip back to the chatThe video lands in the same chat you started from. Forward it wherever you like.
